KIDS & EDGE 45
God loves kids – and so do we!
That’s why we’ve created a safe and fun environment for them to learn the gospel and experience God’s love.
Every Sunday all children (babies 6 months old through 5th grade) experience age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative, fun and relevant way.
We’re in this together!
We want the kids of SunHills to have a deeply rooted confidence in the character of God so they passionately follow Him through good and bad times. We want to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by providing events, curriculum, and resources that center on the gospel and teach the nature and character of God.
Masks in Motion
We ask that you wear a mask when entering the building and keep it on until you are seated. Masks will be available at the front door if you do not have one. Please note that this should be practiced at any in person gathering on campus, such as bible study, small groups, youth events etc.
We ask that you maintain 6′ physical distance with those not in your household.
How Check-In Works
You may check your child in at either one of our check-in stations. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s last name and identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
We Care About Safety!
Follow the signs for first-time families to the kid’s check-in area. We’ll meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
During check-in, you’ll be asked for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
Our leaders have a huge heart for teaching kids about Jesus and His amazing love for them. And because safety is one of our top priorities, all volunteers who work with kids have been screened.
Edge 45 is a great place for 4th and 5th graders to come make friends while exploring the Bible. We value fun, friendship, and God’s truth. We play games, share stories, and enjoy developing friendships with leaders and each other. Each week, we open God’s Word and grapple with what God has to say about our faith, our relationships, and our choices. Our goal is to equip kids with the ability to search and understand God’s truth and apply it to their lives in an environment that encourages friendship and fun.
Mom’s Viewing Room
A mom’s viewing room is available for moms with babies that are still too young for our nursery. This is a “Moms Only” room for women with babies to view the service in a more private and quiet environment.
Still Have Questions?
We know you care about your kids and we want you to feel completely comfortable about their experience with us, so if you ever have any questions, any our Kids Ministry staff or volunteers will be happy to help you! Also, if you have any questions before attending a service, you can always contact Jo Beijer, our Kids Director, to get answers to those questions.
